About Catherine
Catherine MacKinnon is a photographer of opportunity and of travel.
A passion for photography has inspired Catherine to explore and capture images of many points of interest throughout Ontario and beyond. Over the years, her travels have included destinations throughout Canada and the US, Northern Europe, East Africa, China, and Central Asia.
An original Beach Photo Club member, she enjoys learning about photography, be it nature, journalistic, documentary, or fine art photography. With the photo club, Catherine helped edit and market the well-received 2011 and 2012 Beach Photo Calendars and was instrumental in initiating the club's quarterly exhibits at the Beachside Grill on Queen St East. A club executive member in the past, Catherine continues to contribute in an advisory capacity.
As a member of F8 Photography Collective, Catherine has exhibited in group shows at the Dignam Gallery and other Toronto venues since 2010.
